People travelled from across the UK including four Scottish Churches, two Welsh Churches and one from Northern Ireland. Every District Council in the country was represented.

In opening the day, in a packed Sanctuary, the SNU President David Bruton welcomed the Presidents and their guests to Stansted Hall. David went onto speak about forging stronger ties between the Union and its Churches under the banner of "One Union, Strength through Unity".

The whole National Executive Committee attended this special gathering and speakers included Julia Almond (Finance Director), Minister Judith Seaman (Vice President Spiritual), Minister Dinah Annable (Vice President Administrative), Minister Kathryn Grundy (Chairman of Accreditation), Graham Hewitt LLB (Trust Property Coordinator), John Blackwood (Chairman of SNUT) and Tony Dobbins (Managing Director of Glen Insurance). Charles Coulston (General Secretary) was also in attendance. Andy Byng, the Chairman of Spirit of Youth (SOY), spoke about the future plans for SOY and the Young Peoples Council.

After the formal presentations a 'Question Time' session was held with questions from the audience. This was followed by the group photograph and lunch.

After lunch there was a tour of Stansted Hall. This was followed by a visit to Redwoods and The SNUT Office, conducted by the President. The afternoon saw a Ministers question and answer session that was held by Minister Judith Seaman and Minister Steven Upton.

Guests were then free to enjoy the college and its grounds on a beautiful spring day and to join in the Open Week programme.
